A physician by training (Albert-Ludwigs Universität Freiburg) and holder of an MBA (University of San Diego), Dr. Volker Herrmann has built his career at the intersection of research, clinical development, and commercial strategy, within global pharmaceutical companies and innovative biotech firms:

• Pfizer (1999–2015), Several executive leadership roles including General Manager of Integrated Health Business Unit, Global leader Pain franchise and responsible for global strategy, business development, and global marketing for the Vaccines division.
